What is an Overhead Crane?
A bridge crane (also known as an overhead travelling crane) is a type of lifting equipment that spans across workshops, warehouses, and material yards for material handling. It gets its name from its bridge-like shape, as it rests on tall concrete pillars or metal supports at both ends. It is one of the most widely used and numerous types of lifting machinery, extensively used in modern industrial production.
